Raised garden bed is finally complete!  When it comes to dirt, especially lots of dirt, it’s nice to have friends.  Shawn Friend was kind enough to deliver the dirt for me and help me shovel it in.

Thankfully, some local entrepreneurial kids stopped by and asked to work.  My answer after shoveling a few yards myself, HELL YES!  Then I could sit back and “supervise”:).  

My wife Jeanna, the consumate lady that she is, brought out a table, tablecloth, coffee, and lemon water.  This woman cracks me up.  Martha Stuart of gardening. I guess in her mind there was no reason we couldn’t be “civilized”.  God, I love this woman.

And in true Jeanna fashion, she made sandwiches for everyone when we were done. This is the life!

I’m pretty happy to finally have this project completed.  Now I can replace soon to be farmer with farmer.
